Professor Judson: "Rethinking the Habsburg Monarchy and its end"

Professor Judson is a historian specialising on the Habsburgs from the European University of Florence, and he will give a talk to our Society titled "Rethinking the Habsburg Monarchy and its end".

He is one of the great believers in the capacity of Austria-Hungary to adapt in different times. His latest much-acclaimed book - published in summer of 2016 - "The Habsburg Empire" will be available for buying by a Blackwell's stall at the end of the room. A book signing session will follow the event.

The event will be hosted on Monday the 23rd January, Week II; at 17.00, the location is to be appointed shortly. Members and non-members are both very much welcome to the event.
